3 Salut Mental
About
3 Salut Mental is the alliance of Gira-Sol, Es Garrover and Estel de Llevant, three non-profit social entities which work with people who have mental health disorders. Our programme ‘Obertament Balears’ fights against social stigmas from the first-person experience.
3 Salut Mental was created in 2014 with three fundamental commitments :
- Share and add experience and knowledge in the services that each entity offers in the respective geographical areas.
- Carry out joint projects and services throughout the island of Mallorca.
- Provide more visibility to mental health issues and combat stigma.
3 Salut Mental is working for the transparency, the innovation, and the cooperation, in favor of the dignity of persons with mental disorder.
Projects
Obertament Balears
Our programme ‘Obertament Balears’ fights against social stigmas from the first-person experience.
With the collaboration and method of the Catalan association Obertament and based on first-person testimonies and experiences, the aim is to promote a change in attitudes and behaviors in society, working as a priority with groups such as the media or the health sector.
